ABOUT
Actuary and data scientist do have many similarities. Both have similar skills, responsibilities, and educational requirements. Both rely on in-depth data processing to analyze large amounts of data. The results generated by both are used to better understand the present and predict future circumstances. Even considering their similarities, these two professions also exist as different professions, each with its own career path and requirements. Through this session, you will have a deeper understanding of which field to study and have better decisions in choosing their professions after graduation.

Mr. Logen is a qualified Life Actuary with experience in product design, development, pricing, experience monitoring and reinsurance. Besides being a full-time Actuary, he is also passionate about insurance, building solutions and making a difference.

Mr. Jek Ann Lee is working on data analytics and data management for an insurance company while further taking actuarial exams in order to become a qualified actuary.
