What are HWUMSAS and SOLID? What they do?

HWUMSAS, Society of Actuarial Science (SAS) of Heriot-Watt University Malaysia is a young society established in 2015. SAS is a platform that provides future actuaries the opportunity to develop themselves professionally, academically, and personally. SOLID, Society of Logical Interpretation of Data on the other hand is a society established in 2019 serving as the representative of Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM) students who are dedicated to learning data analytics skills and programming languages.
Is it a must to join all the sessions?

No. Participants are allowed to choose which sessions to join based on their preference and availability.
Is the event opened to public?

Yes! We welcome students from any university to join us!
